New electrical engineering for a hospital

SAG branch in Waldbröl carries out the extensive redevelopment of electrical engineering during operation.


As part of redevelopments in fire safety the SAG at the Waldbröl location was instructed in November 2013 to install the complete electrical engineering for the ward block of the Waldbröl regional hospital.

Scope of services

  • Sub-distributions including cables for general power supply and safety power supply
  • Vertical power bus-bars (315A, AV, SV) for the supply of stations
  • Lighting
  • EDP technology
  • Nurse call station
  • Antenna station
  • Fire protection, fire alarm
  • Bedframes for 93 ward rooms as well as treatment and side rooms
  • Dismantling of old electronics. Materials will also be provided by SAG.

The work in the ward will occur in two phases. The left half of the building (floors two to six, five stations) is currently (summer 2014) being thoroughly refurbished and will be followed by the right half (floors two to six, five stations) subsequently. The work should be finished by May, 2015.

Partner since 1968

Since the construction of the hospital in 1968, SAG has regularly been commissioned for electrical engineering projects throughout the entire establishment. An employee of the SAG branch in Waldbröl has also been permanently reserved for the hospital. He assists the technical service department of the building.
